「プラスハイ」は、すでに高いところに立っていても、そこからさらに一歩を踏み出す、という姿勢を社名にしたものです。“Plushigh” names an attitude: even when you already stand somewhere high, you take one more step.

日本が長い時間をかけて磨いてきたものづくり、働き方、金融の仕組み。それらを、成長の途上にある国々で役立つかたちに置き換え、現地の人と一緒に事業として根づかせることが私たちの仕事です。Japan has spent generations refining how it makes things, how it works, and how it finances growth. Our job is to translate that into forms that work in fast-growing countries, and to build it into lasting businesses together with local partners.

最初の舞台は、標高2,355mの首都アディスアベバを擁するエチオピアです。Our first arena is Ethiopia, whose capital Addis Ababa sits at 2,355 metres.

「＋81」は日本の国番号です。プラスハイという響きには、日本から世界へつなぐ一本の回線という意味も重ねています。ロゴの「＋」は、81よりひとつ高い位置に置いています。+81 is Japan's country calling code. In Japanese, “plus eighty-one” can be read as “plus high”, so our name also carries the idea of a line that connects Japan to the world. In our mark, the plus sits one step higher than the 81.

十数年にわたりエチオピアのアスリートとの交流に携わり、選手の来日や日本での活動を支えてきました。For more than a decade he has worked with Ethiopian athletes, bringing runners to Japan and supporting their careers here.

スポーツを入口に築いた日本国内の幅広い人脈と、エチオピア陸上界との信頼関係が、プラスハイの人材・投資・貿易事業の土台です。The wide network he has built in Japan through sport, and the trust he holds in Ethiopian athletics, are the foundation of Plushigh's talent, investment and trade work.

エチオピアの若い人材を日本の現場へ。日本語と職業教育から、来日後の定着まで一貫して支えます。日本で技術と働き方を身につけた人材が、帰国後にはエチオピアの産業を牽引するリーディングフォースとなることを目指しています。Bringing young Ethiopian talent to workplaces in Japan, with support from language and vocational training through to settling in after arrival. Our aim is that, having gained skills and work practices in Japan, they return home as a leading force in Ethiopia’s industries.
